The IC-F4011 series, with its three buttons, single volume knob and 16-position channel knob is easy to use and does not require any special training. The large size of the knobs along with its  positive action buttons make this radio easy to operate, even while wearing gloves.

The compact design of the IC-F4011 series (120mm; 4 ²³⁄₃₂ inch height) is light weight (approximate 300g; 10.6 oz with BP-232N and antenna). The aluminum chassis is the foundation for this radio’s rugged construction and allows for long-life usage in all types of environments.

MIL-STD and IP54 durable construction

The IC-F4011 series is tested to meet MIL-STD 810 specifications and is up to the IP54 rating for protection and resistance against both dust and water. This radio is made to withstand wear and tear.

CTCSS/DTCS tone encoder/decoder

Built –in the IC-F4011 series is CTCSS and DTCS capabilities which comes standard and allows you to access a repeater or to set up your own talk group for quiet stand-by.

Rapid battery charger included

Included with the radio is the rapid desktop charger, BC-160 and AC adapter BC-145. This charger charges the BP-232N Li-Ion battery in approximately 3 hours.

Automatic scanning and priority scan functions

When the radio is turned on, the power-on scan function automatically begins scanning. The priority scan function sequentially scans all programmed channels while it monitors  the priority channel.
